One of Bendigo’s oldest Law Firms Petersen Westbrook Cameron Lawyers has been providing legal services to clients and local communities in Bendigo, Castlemaine and the surrounding areas for over a century.

 

 

Greg Westbrook (LLB)(BLJS) (Director)

Greg brings extensive commercial experience to his role as Director of Petersen Westbrook Cameron and practices in the areas of Property Law, Commercial Leasing, Business Acquisitions and Sales, Commercial Litigation and Corporate Governance. Greg is keenly involved in the local community and holds Board positions with Bendigo Access Employment, Central Victoria Regional AFL Commission and Bendigo Health’s Research and Ethics Committee. Greg can often be seen paddling on Lake Weroona and competing in multi-sport events on weekends.

 

Bob Cameron (LLB)

Bob Cameron first joined Petersen Westbrook Cameron Lawyers in 1985. In 1996 Bob was elected into State Parliament and held the seat of Bendigo West until his retirement from parliament in 2010. Having been involved in the making of many Victorian Laws as a cabinet minister for eleven years, Bob is now back with our firm bringing with him considerable legal knowledge. Bob continues to be actively involved with the local community, including serving as Chairman of Bendigo Health.  He now acts as a consultant to our law practice helping clients in family and employment matters.

 

Natalie Westbrook (LLB)

Natalie heads up our property law team, helping clients in all matters relating to Property law, including Plans of Subdivisions, Conveyancing, Property transfers and Leasing. Natalie is also responsible for our internal HR and business management systems.

 

Carolyn Davey (BA)(LLB)

Carolyn practised in top tier firms for six years after being admitted to practice in 1999. She has extensive experience in the criminal law jurisdiction having worked in the area in private practice and, in the 8 years prior to joining the firm, working for the Office of Public Prosecutions.  During this time Carolyn specialised in complex Indictable prosecutions, regularly appearing as an advocate in the Magistrates’ and County Courts.  Carolyn has also represented various local governments and undertaken prosecution work on their behalf.  Since joining the family firm in early 2014, Carolyn has been responsible for the Wills, Probate and Estate planning division of Petersen Westbrook Cameron.

 

KIM FRENCH (Legal Executive) (F.Inst.L.Ex)

Kim has had extensive experience working in the legal field for 15 years in the areas of conveyancing and commercial law. Kim started off as a junior assistant then progressing to a personal assistant and becoming a Legal Executive with the Institute of Legal Executives in 2010. Kim’s role at Petersen Westbrook Cameron is to assist clients with their conveyancing transactions.

 

Michael Westbrook (BA)(LLB)(Hons)

Michael Westbrook has practiced Law in Bendigo for over 35 years . Michael now acts as a consultant with the firm. Michael also heads up our internal finance department.
